About NexMedia — The Team Behind the Converter
The platform
NexMedia is a media and container conversion platform: drop a file in the browser, pick a target format, and a worker fleet does the conversion for you.
It covers 75 formats across video, audio, image, archive, e-book, vector, CAD, and font files, from everyday media to specialist formats. Conversions run on isolated workers with per-format engines, so the browser never carries the conversion load.
NexMedia also exposes the same pipeline as a REST API: build jobs from upload, convert and export tasks and connect them to your own storage and application logic.
Our mission
Converting a file should not mean installing software, uploading your data to an anonymous ad-funded service, or accepting a watermark. We think format conversion is infrastructure: it should just work, in the browser, at the quality the source file allows.
That is why NexMedia runs conversions on a worker fleet instead of your CPU, treats privacy as a default (files are deleted when the retention window ends), and exposes the same pipeline to everyone — as the web app and as a REST API.
