You pay for conversions with credits: each one costs a small base amount for the kind of file you receive, plus one credit per minute of CPU time it uses.
Cost follows CPU, so a long 4K video costs more than a quick image, and a conversion that fails costs nothing.

What a conversion costs
- A 10-minute 1080p MP4 converted to WebM: base cost 2 + about 15 CPU-minutes ≈ 17 credits
- A 5-minute WAV converted to MP3: base cost 1 + about 1 CPU-minutes ≈ 2 credits
- A PNG photo converted to WebP: base cost 1 + about 1 CPU-minutes ≈ 2 credits
Questions
Do credits expire?
Credits from a package never expire. Subscription credits are valid for the month they were granted in.
Do unused subscription credits roll over?
No. Subscription credits reset every month. If you hold both, subscription credits are used first and package credits stay until you need them.
What happens when I run out of credits?
A conversion your balance cannot cover does not start. Buy a package or wait for your subscription to renew. Failed conversions are never charged.
Does compressing a video cost the same as converting it?
Yes. A compression job is a conversion: the video compressor and the file converter are metered on the same CPU credits, so shrinking a file costs what converting it costs. Failed jobs are never charged.
Can I get a refund?
Yes — your first payment carries a two-week money-back guarantee, once per account: contact support within two weeks and we will refund it in full. Conversions that fail cost nothing, so there is nothing to refund for them. After the first payment, if you think a payment is wrong, contact support and we will review it.
Do prices include VAT?
No. Listed prices exclude VAT where it applies. Tax is calculated by our payment provider from your billing address and shown on the checkout page before you pay.
