TTF files are uncompressed, so for websites WOFF2 is the smaller choice.
Common questions about TTF
Why won't my website use the TTF font I installed on my computer? Installed fonts stay on your machine and never reach visitors — the web needs the font as a WOFF2 file embedded by the site.
Why convert a font to TTF? For maximum compatibility: every operating system and desktop program installs it, and it is the format old software understands best.
