Image Compression API

Compress images programmatically: send PNG, JPEG, TIFF or BMP source blobs and convert them to WebP, AVIF or JPEG XL at the quality level you choose.

Create the job with POST /v1/jobs and a conversion like { "target": "webp", "options": { "quality": 80 } } — the API plans the task, runs it on the worker fleet and streams progress over server-sent events. Output blobs come back as signed, expiring download links through GET /v1/jobs/:id/outputs.

Compression jobs are metered on the same CPU credits as every other conversion, so they cost the same whether you run them here or in your pipeline.
